Perspective changes everything.

Understanding cultures, institutions and human stories begins with looking beyond the obvious.

About

I have always wanted to understand what lies beyond the obvious.

The human relationships that shape institutions. The cultural expectations that influence decisions. The perspectives that rarely find their way into public conversations.

My professional life has taken me through international institutions and business environments, from New York to the Horn of Africa. Along the way, I have learned that understanding a country or region takes more than knowing its institutions, markets or formal structures. It also means understanding the people who live there.

For me, consulting and storytelling are distinct disciplines connected by a shared purpose: understanding people and the worlds they inhabit.

Consulting

Beyond the market, understand the realities on the ground.

An international perspective. A deep understanding of the region.

A business can understand the numbers and still miss the realities on the ground. Investment decisions, partnerships and institutional projects also depend on relationships, traditions, expectations and local circumstances that market research does not always reveal.

Beyond the Noise

What might we learn by listening to people the contemporary world rarely gives a voice to?

An independent documentary series exploring the questions of our time through conversations with traditional leaders and elders. Its first encounters begin in the Horn of Africa.

Numi

In a world that often asks children to grow up too quickly, Numi makes room for the wonder of childhood. It invites children to imagine freely, notice the beauty of nature, and care for people and animals around them. Through an illustrated book and an animation project in development, Numi nurtures curiosity, kindness, and a sense of belonging, leaving room to dream, explore, and simply be a child.
